The Everest Base Camp trek is one of the most iconic journeys in the Himalayas, offering breathtaking views of Mount Everest, rich Sherpa culture, and unforgettable highlights like Kala Patthar, Namche Bazaar, and Tengboche Monastery. This moderate trek usually takes 12–14 days and is best experienced in spring (Mar–May) or autumn (Oct–Nov).
Day 1: Arrival in Kathmandu (1,400m), trip briefing, permits preparation.
Day 2: Fly to Lukla (2,860m) → Trek to Phakding (2,610m).
Day 3: Trek to Namche Bazaar (3,440m).
Day 4: Acclimatization in Namche (Everest View Hotel hike).
Day 5: Trek to Tengboche (3,870m).
Day 6: Trek to Dingboche (4,410m).
Day 7: Acclimatization hike (Nangkartshang peak).
Day 8: Trek to Lobuche (4,910m).
Day 9: Trek to Gorakshep (5,164m) → Hike to Everest Base Camp (5,364m).
Day 10: Sunrise hike to Kala Patthar (5,545m) → Trek down to Pheriche.
Day 11: Trek to Namche Bazaar.
Day 12: Trek to Lukla.
Day 13: Fly back to Kathmandu.
Day 14: Buffer/rest day, departure.
