I am so happy, my dear friend, so absorbed in the exquisite sense of mere tranquil existence, that I neglect my talents. I should be incapable of drawing a single stroke at the present moment; and yet I feel that I never was a greater artist than now.

As the sun burns high above and the salty wind rushes past me, I glide with the waves as if they were made just for me. Every swell feels eternal, every crash sings freedom. I am not just surfing — I am flowing, breathing, and existing in perfect harmony with the ocean.
