Sunsari Paragliding
Paragliding in Sunsari
Sunsari, located in eastern Nepal near Dharan and Itahari, has become a rising hub for paragliding. Launching from the green hills surrounding Dharan (like Bhedetar or nearby ridges), Sunsari Paragliding offers a thrilling aerial experience with incredible views of the Koshi plains, the winding Saptakoshi River, Dharan bazaar, Itahari, and even the Himalayan backdrop on clear days.
This adventure is perfect for travelers in eastern Nepal who want to combine cultural visits with an adrenaline-filled flight. Compared to Pokhara and Ilam, Sunsari Paragliding gives you a unique chance to fly above the foothills and Terai landscapes together.
